I want to share an afghan I made a while back

I was asked a long while back to crochet an afghan for a friend of mine as a gift to her mother…I got an email this evening from a place where I had posted my project (it was a giveaway I entered for handcrafted work; wich I did win a gift card for [yeah!!!]).

   Aside from entering giveaways, I love to crochet afghans, sweaters, dolls and what have you. This is one that I am and always will be very proud of. I have often wanted to do this for money, but very seldom do I get any offers or requests. I have been doing this for about 13 years now and can normally crochet any sized afghan in a matter of two weeks (I’m a very anxious person and will not stop working until I have completed my project).

JUST A NOTE: I had to shrink the size just a tad (so it would fit); it went from a 593×650 to a 500×650. It’s not perfect, but the afghan is what was important to share. Enjoy…
